Funeral Service will be Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 3P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Charles Hood officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 1-3 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

She is preceded into death by her parents. She worked in the office at Belk in Huntsville for 25 years. She was a member of Union Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Anderson, AL.

She is survived by her loving husband Felix Bates of 41 years, 3 stepchildren Tim Bates of Athens, Tommy McCurley of Athens, and Felicia Mucci and husband Gino of Anderson, AL, one sister Rebecca Perry and nephew Kenneth Perry, and three brothers Stanley Perry, Jerry Perry, and Dennis Wilcox all of Huntsville, AL, 8 grandchildren Andria Francis, Jon Mucci, Zac Mucci, Morgan Bates, Erika Clark, Elizabeth McCurley, Dustin McCurley, Savanna McCurley and 10 great grandchildren.

The Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
