Lawrence Russell Marker

Mr. Marker was born October 2, 1937 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Robert H. Marker and Helen A. Moyer Marker.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 58 years, Billie Marker, and his son, Carl Richard Marker, two brothers, Bob Goss and Frank Marker, and two sisters, Betty Kunnanz and Patricia Marker.

Mr. Marker was a member of Copeland Presbyterian Church. He earned his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at University of New Mexico in 1967. He enjoyed woodworking, raising horses and baseball.

Survivors include two daughters, Laura Kathleen Bouley and Tracy Diane Reeber (David); six grandchildren, Sullivan Bouley, Steven Lawrence Reeber (Katherine), Ruth Sylva Reeber, Daniel David Reeber, Nathan Patrick Reeber (Nancy), and Hannah Jung-Hee Marker; plus two great-grandchildren, Tumaini and Bahati.

There will be a visitation at McConnell Funeral Home Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 1 p.m. followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Rev Tom Lewis officiating.

Pallbearers will be Moody Harvey, Tom Coon, Tom Jarrel and Steve Turner.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Copeland Presbyterian Church.
