Mr. Jackson was born September 21, 1948 in Morgan County to Jesse William Jackson and Mamie Lorraine Mahathy Jackson. Johnnie was a very special man, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James Paul Jackson, and one sister, Barbara Elizabeth Dennis.
Survivors include his wife, Sharron of 43 years, four sons, John Daniel Jackson and wife Tina of Fort Wayne, IN; Joseph Michael Jackson of Fort Wayne, IN; Shannon O’Neal Jackson of Huntsville, AL; Matthew Cameron Jackson of Athens, AL; two step-children, Joel McCarn and Tandus Lashae; one grandson, Kai O’Neal Jackson; and one granddaughter, Maya Rayne Jackson.
