Glenda Lou Martin Campbell

The Funeral Service for Glenda Lou (Sally) Martin Campbell, age 60, of Athens, AL; will be Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Lynn Rager and Dean Watters officiating and granddaughter Deelea doing the eulogy.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery

Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2014: from 6-9 P.M and Sunday, February 9, 2014: from 12-1:45 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Glenda passed away Thursday February 6, 2014 at her daughter’s residence.

She was born December 2, 1953 in Athens, Alabama to William David Martin and Etha Mae Martin. She was a floral designer for 30 years and employed at steelcase for 6 ½ years. She loved her family, especially her babies, Deelea and Carson, and was an avid Auburn fan.

Mrs. Campbell is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Bobby and Billy Martin.

She is survived by her son Jassen Martin; one daughter Crystal Haaker and husband Keith; two grandchildren Deelea Haaker and Carson Haaker, brothers Al Martin, Lonnie Martin, Glen Martin and Ike Martin; sisters Ann Sledge and Brenda Brown.

Pallbearers: Jassen Martin, Keith Haaker, Tony Brown, Floyd White, Glenn Martin and Larry Pressnell.
