Gene H. Kyle

Funeral Service will be Thursday June 24, 2021 at 2 P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Dwight Rayburn officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday from 11-2 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Burial will be in New Oakland Cemetery.

Mr. Kyle was born July 1, 1948 in Limestone County, AL; to John Kyle and Velma Lee Defoe Kyle.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and five brothers.

Mr. Kyle is survived by his loving wife Carole Kyle of Athens, one son Festes Kyle and wife Tracy of Ardmore, two daughters Sabrina Bailey and husband Steve of Athens, Kitty Mendez and husband Carlos Ortiz of Athens, four stepsons Steve Hoeckelberg of Hobart, IN; Michael Hoeckelberg of Athens, Tom Hoeckelberg of Athens and George Bruette of Athens, one brother Joseph Kyle of Athens, 32 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Avery Bruette, Billy Gene Kyle, Zackery Bailey, Wayne Crowson, Corey Stineborn, and Jimmy Hoeckelberg.
