Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery

Visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2017 12-1:45 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Mr. Morgan passed away Sunday September 17, 2017 at his residence.

He was born August 20, 1925 in California. He was a merchant Mariana Captain for the Shell Oil Company where he became a Master Captain.

He is preceded in death by one son John Patrick and Charmaine Morgan.

He is survived by his wife Sue Morgan, two sons Floyd Morgan, Jr. and wife Leslie, Mark Morgan and wife JoAnna and one daughter Debbie Morgan, one stepson Ricky Gaston, 11 grandchildren Casey and Cami Clayton, Emmuel Morgan, Daniel Morgan, Lance Morgan and Hannah Hall and husband Daniel, Gia Imbornone, Mike Morgan and wife Jenny, Alisha Rodrigue and husband Adam, Faith Morgan, and Mark Morgan Jr., 10 great grandchildren and one on the way.
