Donald Eugene Carl Sr.

Mr. Carl was born December 23, 1930, in Spring Glen, PA to Russell Carl and Grace Morgan Carl.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gloria Carl, brother Warren, daughter Brenda and Son in Law Ronald Stahl, Sr.

Mr. Carl worked 45 years as a Coal miner and owner of coal mines. He retired as a custodian at Tri-Valley High School. Mr. Carl enjoyed fishing, hunting, family vacations, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a Big Penn State football fan. Mr. Carl spent the first 90 years of his life in the valley and his last 4 years in Alabama.

Mr. Carl is survived by one son Donald Carl, Jr. (Tammy), of Madison, AL; six grandchildren Makenna, Gracie, Titus, Angelica, Ellie Carl and Ronald Stahl, Jr. (Nikki); two great grandchildren Noah and Ryan Stahl and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of life on Friday April 11, 2025, with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. and Services at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Sacramento, PA with Pastor Ray Holland officiating.
