Daughter of Milton G. Witty and Louise Harrison Witty (both deceased). Widow of John H. (Jack) Allen. Mother of five children, J. Witty Allen (Becky), Kathy Allen Waggoner (Dean), Jan Allen King (Jerry), Leigh Allen Keller, and John M. Allen (Abra). Grandmother of thirteen grandchildren, Jack W. Allen Jr. (Allison), Sarah Allen Wesson (Jeremiah), Samuel S. Allen (Alexis), John E. Waggoner (Crystal), Michael D. Waggoner (Shelli), Janet Waggoner Snyder (Steven), Alicia Waggoner Menard (Grayson), Katelyn Waggoner Boatwright (Brandon), Alexandra Keller Boyd (Adam), Christian Keller, Ella Keller, Claudia Allen Bailey (Chance)and H. Rowe Allen. Great grandmother of twenty-three Great Grandchildren.
She was a woman of many trades, she was a farmer, contractor, builder, developer, Procurement Specialist-Micom, and USDA Inspector. She was a founder, director, and officer of Limestone Feeder Pig Association. She belonged to the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association, Athens Limestone Home Builders Association (where she was a past president and builder of the year). Her family were among the first settlers of Limestone County to come down the Elk River in 1803. Her greatest passions were riding horses, farming, and her grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, April 19th, 2025 at Friendship North, located at 21960 Easter Ferry Road, Elkmont, AL. 35620. The visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
