Mrs. Clark was born January 17, 1941, to James and Anna Aileen King Faulkner.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother Kenneth Faulkner, and one sister Gail McMahan.
Survivors include one son Wesley Clark (Pam), three daughters Angie Wright, Diane Williams, and Heather Cherry; one sister Sandra Murphy (Billy); seven grandchildren Josh Bates (Amber), Meaghan Bates (Jeremy), Morgan Coulter (Ethan), Summer Clark, Presley Clark, Peyton Dollar, Parker Cherry; three great-grandchildren Reed Coulter, Rhett Coulter and Makenna Bates, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Barbara was a kind, giving woman, everyone was welcome at her home at any time. While you were there, she would be in the kitchen making snacks or a home cooked meal for you to enjoy. She made sure you didn’t go home empty handed. She loved her children and grandchildren with a passion and loved to spend time with them all. Barbara liked sitting on her front porch watching the cars go by. Each morning time for Sick Call and Swap and Shop. She was a woman of many talents. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, work on the farm, hard work, Alabama football and was not afraid to get dirty. She was an excellent seamstress and made her children’s clothing with love as they were growing up.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 12pm-2pm at McConnell Funeral Home. A service in her honor will follow at 2pm, it will be officiated by Bro. Frankie Murphy. Burial will follow at Bottoms Cemetery.
