John Boyle John Michael Boyle, born in May, 1926 in Marshall, Minnesota, slipped quietly away on February 20, 2015 in Templeton, California. A devoted and loving family man, John was also a humorist, dreamer, storyteller, inventor, audiophile, HAM radio operator, electronics engineer, and radar expert. His specialty field was radar camouflage. He was a radar man in the U.S. Navy then used the GI Bill for a B.S. in Electronics Engineering. His new career brought him from green Minnesota to work for the U.S. Navy at China Lake, in the Mojave Desert. There he fell in love with a Navy nurse, raised a large noisy family, and did the most creative work of his professional life. He completed his M.S. in EE at UCLA, in the 1960's. His civil service finished in Dahlgren, Virginia where he enjoyed sailing and exploring the historic tidewater region. He is preceded in death by Roseann, his beloved wife of 57 years. He is survived by ten children, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and extended family in the Midwest. There will be a private family graveside service later this spring. You will be missed, "Big Daddy."
