Tony Lawrence Warken passed away at his home in Bengough on June 16, 2018. Tony was the fourth child of Lawrence and Annie Warken, born on November 14, 1945. He was so proud that he shared his birthday with his mom and a niece. He attended school in Coronach and later farmed with his dad and brothers, where the work was never done. Every winter he, along with Clarence, Lawrence, cousin Paul and a couple of friends would head up north and work on the oil rigs, returning home in time for spring seeding. Tony was a self-taught welder and could weld anything. He and his son Cory built a crane for a Radville company. The crane was 43 feet high with a 20 ton lift. It took eight full days to weld it. He built three more cranes that year. Tony also worked for many farmers and ranchers in the area. In 1969, Tony married Donna Hagen. They farmed and ranched one mile northwest of Bengough. In 1970, their son Cory was born. Cory married Michelle Hansen and their children Cassidy and Dylan made Tony a proud grandpa. Tony enjoyed country music, dancing, playing cards, auctions and hunting. Tony was predeceased by his father Lawrence; sisters: Linda Martina, Virginia and Bernadette Lyle; brothers: Bradley and Cameron; grandparents: Conrad and Lucy Warken, Nick and Mary Ogibowski; brothers-in-law Stan Agopsowicz, Ron Shenher, Bill Marinier; nephews: Kevin Agopsowicz, Shawn Warken; niece Brandie Warken. He is survived by his mom, Annie Warken; son Cory (Michelle) and their children Cassidy and Dylan; eight brothers: Clarence (Barb), Lawrence (Joan), Rany (Judy), Greg (Dorothy), Darby (Natalie), Thomas, Vincent (Kathy) and Todd; five sisters: Lorraine Agopowicz, Betty Shenher, Florence Gording, Shirley Marinier and Michele (Jim) Thompson; sisters-in-law Pat and Gloria; brothers-in-law Frank Martina and Stan Lyle; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
