Tim Padfield

Tim is survived by his wife Tracey, daughters Carmen (AJ), Laura (Josh) and Nikki (Cody); grandchildren Jackson, Ethan, Parker, Austyn and Emersyn; siblings Trina McCormick (Bill), Randy (Colleen) and Sheldon (Melanie); brother-in-law Allen (Annika) Wiltse; along with many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his son Matt, parents Gordon and Ethel Padfield and in-laws Murray and Lorraine Wiltse.

From a young age, Tim was always interested in taking things apart and fixing them. He was a mechanic and had a vast knowledge of vehicles, snowmobiles, tractors and machinery of all kinds. He was always involved with the family farm operations growing up, and took over farming in the early 1980's. He truly looked forward to seeding and harvest every year and passed his love of being in the field to his grandchildren, who looked forward to their rides each season.

Tim was married to the love of his life, Tracey, for almost 40 years. They did everything together – snowmobiling, farming, traveling and sharing their lives together. Their love for one another was evident to all those around them.

Tim loved his family and spending time with them. He loved his three girls and beamed with pride watching them achieve their goals and start their own families. He enjoyed when his grandchildren came to visit and always spoiled them. Tim spent a lot of time working on his snowmobiles and restoring them. He loved being able to take his grandkids out for snowmobile rides.

Spending time at the lake boating and visiting with neighbours was a favorite pastime of Tim’s. He was an exceptional neighbour and friend - he was always willing to help everyone out.

Tim lived his life to the fullest. “You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore to be happy.” Tim will forever be loved, remembered and dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life for Tim was held Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at St. George RC Parish Hall, Assiniboia, SK. Beautiful tributes to Tim shared by daughter Carmen, nephew Clinton Templeton and a PowerPoint. Facilitators were Anette Pryce and Gary K. Miller. Interment followed at the Davyroyd Cemetery, Davyroyd, SK. Donations in memory of Tim, may be made to the Davyroyd-Zenith Community Club, PO Box 1179, Assiniboia S0H 0B0.
