Ronald Glen was born April 22, 1954, in Bengough, SK. He passed away peacefully in his home on July 2, 2018 with his wife Pam by his side. Ronnie was the third child of Wally and Luella Van Alstyne. He was raised on a farm south of Bengough, later moving into town where he obtained his education. Ron had many jobs and interests. His main occupation was a consultant in the oil fields which he did for many years. After being away so much he decided to move back home to the family farm, where he bought more land and cattle. Ron was not afraid of a challenge as he always had a new “project” on the go. Ron and Pam got married in 2007 and lived in town. Pam also worked in Regina. The family thanks Pam for loving and caring for their brother. “You are truly his angel.” Ronnie enjoyed his many friends and family get-togethers. Even in poor health, he always looked forward to Friday nights at Auggie’s. Ronnie was predeceased by his parents Wallace and Luella (Cleveland). Ronnie is survived by his loving wife Pam (Sheppard), her children Tyne Tong (Marie) and Tyla Tong; brother Dewey (Ellen) and children Trevor (Julie) and Tracey (Brent); sister Doris (Eric) Holt and children Lindsay (Linda), Kelsey (Erin) and Tammy (Marvin) Katmarski; sister Ronna (Larry) McKerricher and children Ryan (Randi) and Kyron (Aganetha); and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
