On Sunday, July 2, 2023, Mrs. Joyce Koester of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 71 years.

Joyce is survived by her loving family; her son, Merlin (Renée) Koester of Kindersley, Saskatchewan; grandchildren, Tyson Balanik, Dillon Balanik, Payton Balanik, Kole Koester; great grandchildren, Xavier and Xia Alcrow; siblings, Karen (Nels) Seleshanko; Gary (Corinne) Gording, Lorna (Elmer Rhode) Gording Johnson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

She is predeceased by her loving partner, George Pana; parents, Victor & Myra Gording; and son Kent.

A celebration of life for Joyce will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from the Prairie Rose Senior Centre, Wainwright, Alberta at 1:00 PM

A graveside service for Joyce will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 at Rockglen Municipal Cemetery, Rockglen, SK.
