Jenny Elizabeth Nelson

October 2, 1936 - January 5, 2015

Jenny, late of Crane Valley, SK, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2015 at the age of 78. Jenny was born October 2, 1936 in Pangman, SK. She was a true cowgirl at heart and a lover of all animals, especially her best friend of 32 years, her horse Rebel, and her two cats, Jess and Taz. In her later years, Jenny became an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan. Her life then revolved around the Blue Jays games. Now she will have the best seats in the house at all the Jays game next year. Her greatest love of all was her family, she was an amazing mother and grandmother. Jenny was predeceased by her husband Cecil, son-in-law Claybourne Ursu, her parents Florence and William Webb; sisters Kathleen, Eileen, Marg, and Dorthy, and brothers Dave, Walter and Danny. Jenny is survived by her loving children; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren: Wayne Nelson (Jean); Don; Aniesha, Kaitlyn, Chris; Leigh (Carla), Blaze; Jason, Hailey; Lorraine Ursu; Deanna (Bruce), Teagan, Aubrey; Tyler (Christine), Sierra, Summer, Shayla; Emmet; Danny Nelson; Holly (Mike), Kayden, Owen; Krystal (Derek), Haven, Lane; Eric (Steph); Amber (Chris), Carly-Capri, Colin; Jade (Landon); Debbie Nelson; Erin, Colby, Tyra; Kylie; Neil Nelson (Tammie); Jessie, Kayla. Jenny is also survived by her sister May, and brothers Tom (Julia), Ernie (Jessie) and numerous nieces and nephews. As per Jenny’s request there will be a private funeral service. Interment in Wenaus Cemetery, Ormiston, SK. Arrangements entrusted to Ross Funeral Service, Assiniboia, SK.
