On Thursday, January 30, 2020, the gentle soul of Daphne Lorraine Diamond Green (nee Bradshaw) passed on peacefully as a result of complications from dementia. Daphne was born on June 26, 1927 in Burnaby B.C. and spent most of her life in the lower mainland. The overwhelming beauty of nature and animals (especially horses) became a long time passion of Daphne that carried over even into the years where the ravages of her infliction robbed her of much else. She was kind, ethereal, and gifted as a seamstress, cook and was a superb fibre artist. Daphne was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Una (Vera) Bradshaw, and brothers Ronald and John (Bill) Bradshaw. She leaves to mourn her son Ronald Green of Abbotsford, daughters Wendy Nagel (Alvin) of Gravelbourg, and Nila Kelly (Kerby) of Regina. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandson Paul Coleridge (Danelle), granddaughter Rebekah Coleridge (Beau), her great-granddaughters and special nephew Stephen Bradshaw.
The family is grateful for the tender care of the staff at Foyer d’Youville in Gravelbourg as well at Victoria Park Personal Senior Care Community in Regina. In lieu of flowers donations to the Nature Conservancy of Canada are appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Ross Funeral Service, Assiniboia, SK
