

Claude lived in Constance, Lisieux, Froude and finally settled in Assiniboia where he worked and retired from the Department of Highways after 25 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman; enjoying hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. He was always proud to display his trophies. In recent years he also enjoyed time spent on his four wheeler.
Predeceased by his parents, Ottes and Margaret, brothers-in-law Bert Bailey and Martin Bryson, nephew Gerald Aussant and nephew-in-law Louis Tardif, Claude is survived by three sisters: Helen (Henry) Aussant, Marilee Bailey, and Carla (Murray) Weddell and their families.
Funeral Service for Claude was held Thursday, April 7, 2011 in the Oasis Outreach Church, Assiniboia, SK. Pastor Marlin Juell officiated. Tribute was given by Brett. Pallbearers were Alvin Tubbs, Irvin Tubbs, Brett Bailey, Cory Bailey, Caleb Griffin and Albert Wagner. Music Ministry was led by the Oasis Band. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, Assiniboia, SK. Donations in Memory of Claude can be made to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan or Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. Arrangements were entrusted to Gary K.
