Carl Jospeh Ronald Liepold

Carl Liepold, of Bengough, SK, passed away June 7, 2012 at age 92. Predeceased by his parents, Ed and Ruth Liepold and brothers, Victor (Beula) and George, Carl is survived by brothers, John (Elsa) of Boring, Oregon and Ralph (Gloria) of Regina, SK, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Carl was born June 27th, 1919 at Fargo, North Dakota. They family returned to their homestead at Bengough in 1923, where they farmed. After a distinguished military service in both the Canadian and American Air Force, Carl farmed in the Bengough area until his retirement. Carl never married and enjoyed time spent with his family.

Funeral Service was held Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in Knox United Church, Bengough, SK. Sylvia Fitzgerald D.L.M. officiated. Pallbearers were: Dale Leflar, Larry Leflar, Bill Giblett, Brian Boynton, Troy Haugen, and Benny Hazen. Donations in Memory of Carl may be made to the Bengough Health Centre.
