Shirley Miller Kloppenberg, age 96, formerly of Gloucester, Massachusetts and lately of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. She was the loving wife of her first husband, Eskil I. Anderson, and second husband, Joseph Earl Kloppenberg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert H. Miller and Christine MacDonald Miller Cragg, cherished daughter Karin M. Anderson, and sister Sallyann M. Knox.
Shirley is survived by her devoted daughter Kristine Anderson Stephens and her husband John ”Rock” Stephens, granddaughter L. Kathryn Richardson, her husband Paul Richardson, and their son Björn, in addition, her nephew Eric M. Snead and son-in-law W.A. “Chip” Snead III.
Following her time managing retail stores, Shirley enjoyed driving a school bus for the City of Virginia Beach Public Schools. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed sewing and crochet work. Her pass time included time spent with various pets.
