He was born on May 24, 1969, in Milledgeville, Georgia where he graduated from Georgia College with a degree in Biology. Scott had a lifelong love for gardening and for his dogs.
Scott was preceded in death by his loving father, Carter Woolsey and his faithful friend, Robert Hendrick.
Scott is survived by his mother, Joan Burch and his stepfather, Walter Burch of Willacoochee, Georgia; his sister, Karen Halford (Steve) of Palm Bay, Florida; his brother, Craig Woolsey (Sarah) of Blacksburg, Virginia; and his adored niece and nephews. Survivors also include his close friends, Tammy Bailey, Emmie Reid, and Sheila Stanley for whom the family will be forever grateful.
Scott was a longtime employee of Food Lion where he had many kind associates.
Family and friends will gather for a celebration of his life at a later date.
