Rose Marie Vaughan

She is preceded in death by her wife, Jamie Vaughan and her mother, Nellie Dalton.

Rose is survived by her father, Blaine Dalton Sr., siblings, Linda Olinger (Warren), Blaine Dalton Jr. (Tammy), Joyce Locklear (Andrew), Donald Dalton (Tommy Ward), Wanda Cary (Mark), and Stephanie Ridenour (Mike); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a bus driver for Hanover County Public Schools for many years. Her passions included fishing and working in the yard. Her family was important to her and she loved to spend time with them. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her,

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy. Ashland, VA 23005. Burial at Arlington National Cemetery will take place at a later time.
