Rick was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, and nephew. He is survived by his parents Richard Sr and Gwendolyn Eck. His brothers, Charles and his wife Jen, Nelson and his wife Sarah, and sister Martha and her husband John. He had two nephews, five nieces, 1 great nephew, 2 great nieces, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Rick was a Patrick Henry High School Class of 1989 Grad, received a BS in Business from VCU, and was a retired Henrico Firefighter and a business owner. He grew up loving to play in the dirt, gardening, landscaping, fishing, and hunting. He loved his grandparent's farm and never wanted to leave it. Rick would give the shirt off his back and loved his country.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the American Heart Association.
