Michael D. Bradley

Mike was born in Martinsville, VA on March 25, 1949. After high school, he served in Korea as an MP in the U.S. Air Force from 1969 to 1973. He began his working career as a police officer in Amherst County and after moving to Ashland he retired from Linde as a transportation manager. Throughout his life, he faithfully served his Lord, family, church and community, as a deacon, teacher, mentor and encourager.

Mike is survived by his devoted and loving wife of forty-three years, Patricia Hurt Bradley; three children, Mindy, Mitchell (Tracy) and Matthew (Karen); three precious grandchildren, Rachel, Alayna and Bauer; his sister, Kathleen Turner (Marshall); nieces, Allison and Lindsay (Dusty); and many devoted friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 8 from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service at Gwathmey Baptist Church, 11232 Gwathmey Church Road, Ashland, VA 23005. Interment at 3 pm in Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd. Hanover, VA.
