Roberts, Lawrence Coleman, age 84, of Ashland, Virginia passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025. He is survived by his sister, Anita Bruce (Dave) of Louisa; cherished sons Warren D. Roberts, of Ashland and Michael K. Roberts (Jodi) of Beaverdam, VA; grandchildren Chris Roberts (Bree) of Hopewell; Kyle Roberts of Chester; Jack Roberts of Richmond; Brandon Roberts of Beaverdam; Dylan Roberts of Beaverdam; and Jessica Hertless (Alex); great- grandchildren Luca Roberts and Waylon Hertless.
He was preceded in death by his father, Abbott Roberts; mother, Virginia Roberts; and loving wife Gayle Roberts. Mr. Roberts was a member of the Ashland Jaycee's and loved to watch trains go through the town of Ashland. He enjoyed doing little jobs around the house and loved to take care of the grass. He was employed as a Parts Manager at Burman & Sons and James River Equipment.
Mr. Roberts' one request was that everyone have a bourbon and ginger ale as a salute to him and his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 4 to 7 pm at The Hollows Golf Club in their Banquet Room.
