RASO, Guido Joseph, III, 35, of Doswell, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 11, 2016. Guido was preceded in death by his grandparents, Manley and Jean Lindsey. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lindsay Raso; children, Braham, Lily, Shepherd, Norah-Jean and Lennox; mother, Tanya (David) Jones; father, Guido (Beverly) Raso Jr.; brother; Zion Jones; and grandparents, Guido (Ramona) Raso, John (Carolyn) Jones and Gloria Bozard. Guido proudly served nine years in the U.S. Navy and continued his intelligence career as a civilian contractor. He will most be remembered for his spunky humor and his love of music, his children, and his Lord. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. 23005, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Interment will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park.
