Collison, Eugene, 96, of Glen Allen, passed away December 27, 2014. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Jane Collison and granddaughter, Casie. Mr. Collison worked with Home Beneficial Life Insurance for 43 years. He was a member at Hunton Baptist Church and the Glen Allen Masonic Lodge. Eugene is survived by his son, Jack Collison (Susie); daughter, Sharon Haynes (Sonny); grandchildren, Troy (Ginger), Drew, Shannon (Scott), Devon, Caleb, Elise, Haleigh, Addyson, and Greyson; and his caregiver, Tamara. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home- Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Hunton Baptist Church. Private interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
