Family left to cherish his memory include his wife of 26 years, Margaret Bremner Cobb; his six children, Christopher Cobb (Amanda), Neena Carneal, Caroline Carneal, Lauren Bacon, J. Kyle Gammon, and Amy Jennings (Winfield); seven grandchildren, Connor Cobb, Jackson and Bremner Lancaster, and Cassie, Tyler, Meghan, and Hunter Jennings).
Craig, employee of Philip Morris for 30 years, foster parent for 11 years, lover of salt water marine life, and talented wood craftsman was a man of faith who was humbly thankful for the forgiveness of his sins and the promise of eternal life with Jesus Christ. A quiet introvert but romantic at heart, he filled the days of his most recent years praying together with his wife for their children and grandchildren, thinking of how he could bless them the most. Living most of his life in Richmond, he was active in the life of his Church, serving as Treasurer and in youth and children’s ministry, worship team, and missions work.
Two memorial services to celebrate his life will be held: Friday, October 13 at 7pm at the Cobb’s home in Heathesville; Monday, October 16, at Christ Presbyterian Church, 2508 Dickens Rd., at 7:00pm, visitation at 5:30pm.
