Charles "Doc" Glenn Bailey, 79, of Ashland, formerly of Rogersville, TN, passed away on July 30, 2018. He was the son of the late Thomas and Fannie Bailey. Charles retired from Crawford Manufacturing after many years of service. He was a member of Gwathmey Baptist Church, where he played on the church softball team and was a founding member of the Ashland Moose Lodge. He had a love for NASCAR and was a true fan of Dale Earndhart Sr. Charles is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Bailey; daughter, Patsy Mayhew (David); grandson, Jacob Mayhew; brother, Don Bailey, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 2 , 2018 at 6:00pm at Gwathmey Baptist Church, 11232 Gwathmey Church Rd, Ashland, VA 23005.
