Betty was preceded in death by her parents, James and Willie Mae Windham; daughters, Wilma Jean Tate, Wanda Hope Perkins, Angela Carol Miller; brother, Roy Windham; and sister, Helen Busby.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years, Joseph Franklin Fox; sons, Christopher Kent Fox and Carl Franklin Fox along with their many children and grandchildren; grandchildren, Elizabeth Crouch (Tim) and Joseph Perkins; and 2 great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Willow Crouch.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005, where a funeral will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Burial will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd., Hanover, VA 23069.
