Anna "Jayne" Gibson

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Ellen Adams and siblings, Roger Adams, Shirley Adams, and Scott Adams.

Jayne is survived by her children, Marilyn Stanley (Clyde), James Gibson Jr (Dorothy), and Dougie Gibson (Cindy); siblings, Emmett Adams, Billy Adams, Lily Childress, Dill Adams, and Jerry Adams; 5 grandchildren, Travis Stanley (Danielle), Mallory Kain (Nate), Kyle Stanley (Allyson), Madison Gibson, and MacKenzie Gibson; and 6 great-grandchildren, Pyper Stanley, Briar Stanley, Avery Kain, Addy Kain, Lawson Stanley, and Sutton Stanley.

She spent many years working for Best Products Company in Ashland where she retired. She was an avid softball player. Jayne loved the sunshine, gardening, walking, dancing, and chocolate.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 3:00pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005 where a memorial service will begin at 3:00pm.
