Ruth Ann Wells

She was born in Wyandotte, MI, on January 10, 1941, the daughter of Anna V. and Robert Cole. Ruth lived in Ashland County most of her life.

She worked for Garber/Caraustar then went to work for Coburn Inc. She attended Southview Grace Brethren Church.

Ruth married Roy Dale Wells in 1959. She is survived by two daughters, Jackie Turner of Hayesville and Roberta (Lonnie) Skok of Hayesville; five grandchildren, Shane (Michelle) Ritchey of Ashland, Chad (Brandy) Ritchey of Loudonville, Justin Skok of Hayesville, Victoria Turner of Hayesville, and Josh (Mandie) Skok of Loudonville; great-grandchildren, Cash, Katy, Ayden, Macy, Cama, Sunny, and Karlee; sister, Bonnie Pauly; brother-in-law Larry Swineford; several nieces and nephews; and beloved family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol Swineford; brother-in-law, Ken Pauly, brother-in-law, Scott Wells, sister-in-law, Jean Bowles and dear friend Norm Wynn.

Family and friends may visit from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Southview Grace Brethren Church, 810 Katherine Ave., Ashland, OH 44805. Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Abel and Pastor Joel Zook officiating. She will be laid to rest in Nankin Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southview Grace Brethren Church of Ashland.
