Born May 26, 1940, in Ashland, Ohio, he was the only child of the late Mary Maxine (Freytag) and Carle Bernard Brown. A lifelong Ashland resident, he graduated from Ashland High School. After graduation, Mike joined the Army National Guard. In 1964, he married Judy Lucas and they raised two daughters. He retired from F.E. Myers where he worked for many years as a machinist. Mike enjoyed shooting sporting clays, fishing, bowling, completing model trains and watching baseball.
He is survived by two daughters, Terri (Ron) Miller and Traci Black; and three granddaughters who affectionately called him “Papa Mikey”, Madison (fiancé, Camden Tucker), Alexis and Morgan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Brown; and son-in-law, Charles Black.
There will be no visitation or services at this time. Wappner Funeral Director-Ashland is honored to serve the family.
