Timothy James Conway, 70, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Belleview Heights Alzheimer’s Special Care Center in Aurora, CO with family at his side. Tim was born on April 2, 1948 in Grand Rapids, MI, to E.M. Conway and Helen Conway. He was the third of five children. Tim graduated from East Grand Rapids High School in 1966 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.
Tim married his high school sweetheart Cheryl Conway on August 29, 1969. Tim and Cherie moved to Kansas City, KS in 1972 where Tim worked as a Product Manager for the corporate offices of Hallmark. In 1976, Tim and Cherie moved to Denver, CO where he opened and operated six Hallmark stores and an office supply company under the name Colorado Stationers, before retiring in 2009.
He is survived by his wife Cherie; his children, Ryan Conway (Lisa), Travis Conway (Alisyn), and Kelly Treble (Matt); his siblings, Dan Conway (Linda), Brian Conway, and Holly Stropes (Mike); and his 8 grandchildren. Tim was preceded in death by his father, E.M Conway; his mother, Helen Conway; and his brother, Terry Conway.
A brief Memorial Service followed by a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018, at the Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Club, 23155 E Heritage Pkwy, Aurora, CO 80016 at 1:00 p.m.
