Susan B. Wilson

Susan (Sue) Barbara Wilson died peacefully of natural causes in Boulder, Colorado on Thanksgiving morning, November 23, 2017, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Wilson; Sue is lovingly remembered by her four children, Rick Wilson, Wayne Wilson, Julie Gollos and Bruce Wilson; her grandchildren Stacey, Erin, Monica, Stephanie, Brittany and her five loving great grandchildren. Sue was a California native born on February 2, 1933 in Palo Alto, California to Ronald and Ann Williams. After her husband passed away in 2013 Sue moved to Boulder, Colorado where she was cared for by her loving children. She graduated from Castilleja High School in Palo Alto, CA and Stanford University. Sue also spent one year in Paris, France studying art. After graduating from Stanford Sue married her college sweetheart, Ron, on March 20, 1954 and they were happily married for 59 years. During her college years Sue was a Head Cheerleader at Stanford University and a Miss America escort. In addition to her career as an Interior Designer Sue also cherished her time working with local Bay Area charities such as Turnabout, Peninsula Volunteers, The Little House and one of her favorites, The Festival of the Trees. Sue and her late husband Ron were also boosters of the Stanford University Athletic Department.
