Robert (Bob) Laws passed away in the early morning while at the hospital. He was 97. He grew up in the Applewood area west of Denver during the time of the Great Depression. He joined the Army during World War II and became a pilot with the Army Air Corp serving mostly in North Africa and went on to have a career flying Captain for United Airlines. His passions throughout his life included owning and operating a 400 acre farm in Fort Lupton; woodworking; gardening (he had a serious green thumb); reading anything he could get his hands on; baking sweets and sourdough bread; and taking road trips to view areas he’d flown over many times. His final resting place will be at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. He is survived by his two sons Robert (Bob) Laws II and Richard Laws (his spouse Sandy) and his granddaughter Chloe Louise Laws.
Fly high Dad and
Rest In Peace.
