John E. Millington (Jack) Age 91, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Monday April 8th 2019. Survived by his loving wife, Joyce Millington, his son, John E. Millington, his daughter
Gail Eberhart, grandson, and great grandchildren.
John was born in Bennington Vermont where he met and married his beloved wife of 68 years. They remained in Vermont and raised their family until relocating to Memphis, Tenn., in the late 1960’s. As the years passed they moved to Colorado to be closer to family during the “elderly” years.
John was literally a “Jack” of all trades and a master of most. John used his skills in many capacities for friends, family, church and community needs and all knew that “Jack, was the one to call.”
A sense of humor was just below the surface waiting for that perfect moment when a laugh was just what was needed. Traveling in their camper “to all 50 states”, he would say, and “tinkering” in his shop, where you could always find him, were two of his many passions.
John is a veteran who served in the Army during 1947-1950 in the Korean War. No service date is scheduled at this time, however, we would very much like to hear your memories and stories each of you have of this wonderful loving man, John Millington.
John will very much be missed and live in all of our hearts as a beacon of joy forever.
