Howard is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lena C. Miller. Son Mitchell (Trish) Miller. Daughters Joyce (Raymond) Shong and Pamela (Larry) Watkins. Brothers Gene Sawyer, Joseph Sawyer, and John Miller.
Howard is also survived by and lovingly remembered by grandsons Joseph Watkins, Weston Shong, Austin Miller, and Brandin Miller. Granddaughters Traci (Michael) Potter and Megan (Michael) Gilliam. Great grandsons Justin Watkins, Joseph Watkins II, Larry Watkins III, and James Gilliam. Great granddaughters Liviah Watkins, Tierra Potter, and Viola Rosie Potter.
Howard is preceded in death by his father Osborne Miller and mother Kathern James. His brother Vernon Miller and grandson Larry Watkins II.
Howard was born on March 02, 1938 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. He was a Navy Veteran of the USS Sperry. Some of his hobbies included golfing, gardening, and woodworking. He loved to play cards and dominoes as well as sketching/drawing. Howard especially enjoyed spending time with family and loved being around his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to watch sports and cheering on his grandkids was his favorite.
