Virginia S. Carpenter passed away peacefully at Crystal Oaks Assisted Living, Crystal City, Mo., on July 2, 2015. Daughter of the late Guy and Etta Spiller (nee Lorance). Beloved wife of the late R. Kenneth Carpenter. Loving mother of Kay (Glenn) Pauly and Ann (Lowell) Toole. Dear grandmother of Christina McKenzie and Marlene Vaught and great grandmother of Matt McKenzie, Joshua and Alyssa Vaught. Sister of the late Katherine Moulder and Elinor Curtis. Aunt of the late Barbara Ann Bush, David Moulder and Jim Curtis.
Virginia was a former nurse at St. Luke's Hospital.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 25, 2015, 9-10:00 am at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 10:00 am at the funeral home, Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Crystal Oaks Foundation, 1500 Calvary Church Road, Crystal City, Mo. 63019 appreciated.
