Maurice Gale Gibbs

Maurice G. Gibbs of Arnold, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Margaret Gibbs (nee Lehman). Loving father of Tina (Tim) Knarr, Kelley Kessler (Fiance' Eric Baertels) and Stacy (Shane) Vandiver. Dearest grandfather of Chase Vandiver. Dear brother of Billy Gibbs, Keith Gibbs, Larry Covington, Gary Covington, Michael Foster and Barbara Head. Preceded in death by his parents, Gale and Audrey Gibbs (nee Forsythe) and sister, Glenda Gibbs and brother, Stevie Covington.

Maurice retired from the City of Arnold Street Department in January, 1998.

Memorial Service to be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, March 3 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Anthony's Hospice.
