Leonard D. "Dan" Ballinger Jr. of Arnold, MO. was born on May 17, 1933 in Charleston, MO and passed away on Monday October 15, 2018. Loving husband of Shirley Ballinger (nee Swank); loving father of Stephen (Deborah) Ballinger of Bloomsdale, MO; dear grandfather of Jason and Matthew Crombie; great grandfather of Kailey, Morgan, Madalynn and Ava Crombie; dear son of the late Leonard and Maegerie (nee Baker) Ballinger Sr.

Dan was a member of the Grace Free Will Baptist Church. He was a retired Superintendent for the State Schools for the handicapped and served his country in the United States Air Force.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 4-8 pm at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO. Funeral Service Saturday, October 20, 2018, 10:30 am at the Grace Free Will Baptist Church, 2258 Tenbrook Rd. Arnold, MO. Visitation at the church Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service.
