Joseph D. Grimes, 70, of Barnhart, died November 7, 2017 at his residence. He was retired from Chrysler Corporation and a proud Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved family, animals and listening to music.
He is survived by his sisters: Debra Porter and Rebecca Morris, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents J. D. Grimes and Virginia Hornbeak Grimes, sister Jean Rulo Shuler and nephew Tom Rulo.
Services: A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Heiligtag-Lang Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco, Blvd., Arnold, Mo. Following the visitation, there will be a funeral service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of the service, a graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lemay.
