Joseph A. Blecha

Joseph A. Blecha, age 94, of Arnold, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022. Joseph was born April 1,1928 in St. Louis, MO to the late Joseph H. and Gertrude C. (nee Bange) Blecha; beloved husband of Shirley A. Blecha (nee Marsau); loving father of Ann, David, Carol, Helen (Brian), Susan (Steve) and Matthew (Tamara); loving grandfather of Heather (Brad), Michael (Quaya), James, Justin, Erik, Ashley (Isaac), Dalton "DJ", Chloe, Zachary (Jade) and Nathan; great grandfather of Savanna, Brookelyn, Brayden, Gabriel, Lacey, Maya, Danny and Ellie; dear brother of Frances (and the late Elmer) Missey and the late Martha (Walter) Ruoff and Ruth (Carl) Ruoff; and special family friend, Vernon.

Joseph was a lifetime member of St. John Catholic Church, 74 year member of the Carpenter's Union and long time member of Jefferson County Genealogical Society.

A visitation for Joseph will be held Friday, September 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. John Catholic Church, 4614 Blue Springs Rd., Imperial, MO 63052. Interment St. John Catholic Cemetery, West Rock Creek Road, Imperial, MO. Masses or memorial donations may be made to St. John Church Roof Fund in Joseph's Honor.
