James Michael Nelson, age 40, of Barnhart, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024. He was born in St. Louis, MO on November 27, 1983 to Karen (nee Keel) Higgins and the late Richard Paul (Cheryl) Nelson Sr.; dear stepson of Jim Higgins; loving father of Carter (Andrew) Nelson; loving pet Dad of Pepper the dog; dear grandson of the late Charles M. and Pauline Keel and the late Ivan and Joyce Baker; dear brother of Richard (Bonnie) Nelson, Jason Pruitte and the late Dale Davis;
James was a Christian Man who loved the outdoors and nature. He enjoyed hiking, photography and being with his family and friends. He was a very positive person and made the best out of any situation.
A visitation for James will be held Friday, September 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. Funeral service will occur Friday, September 13, 2024 from 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery 1925 Old Hwy M, Barnhart, MO 63012.
