Gail Ann Wells, age 79, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023. Gail was born October 6, 1943 to the late James Patterson and Bernice Patterson (Kunz). She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Ronald Wells; dearest mother of Michael Wells (Michele) and Steven Wells (Jennifer); cherished grandmother of Logan, Megan, Ashton and Brayden Wells; dear sister of John Patterson and the late Linda Murray (Patterson).
Gail graduated from Cleveland High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Harris Teachers College, she also completed her Master of Arts in Teaching from Webster College.
She was a teacher for the Fox School district for 30 years, she taught elementary and junior high. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, shopping, playing Bunco, cards and games and spending time with family and friends. She served as a member and President of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, Beta Pi Chapter. She was a member of a Book Club, the Fenton Garden club and the Denim Squares Dance Club. She served as a volunteer at the Sappington House.
