Arthur L. Schmidt, Jr. of Hillsboro, Mo. passed away on October 13, 2013 at the age of 80. Son of the late Arthur L. and Ida Schmidt, Sr. (nee Reiser). Husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Schmidt (nee Hacker). Loving father of Steven (Ladon) L. Schmidt, Barbara A. Goad, Linda (William) R. Blumer and Michael A. Schmidt. Adoring grandfather of William (Jessica) M. Blumer, Elizabeth A. Blumer, Amanda (William) K. Blalock and great grandfather of Andrew Baker, Chloe and Jacob Blumer. Loving father-in-law, uncle and friend to many.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013, 3-8 p.m. at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. Funeral service will be Friday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment immediately following at Shepherd Hills Cemetery.
