Santina “Violet” Pelanconi, 92, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 24, 2017.
Violet was born July 1, 1924 in Los Angeles, California to John and Delinda Zambetti.
She graduated from Mark Keppel High School in 1943. She then met the love of her life, Dante Pelanconi and was married on January 20, 1946.
Violet was a loving mother to her three children, Edward, John, and Susan Pelanconi and a wonderful Nonna to her three grandchildren, Joseph Pelanconi, Delinda Ingrum and Steve Ingrum.
Violet will be remembered mostly for her great love of family, flowers, Italian cooking, dancing, and hosting large family gatherings in her home in Arlington, Washington where she lived for the last 60 years.
She is survived by her children, Edward Pelanconi, John Pelanconi, and Susan Pelanconi; her grandchildren, Joseph Pelanconi and Delinda Ingrum (Steve Ingrum) and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Arlington at 12:00 p.m. Reception will immediately follow.
