Ronald Gene Schultz, 83, passed away from complications of renal failure on March 26, 2018 in Everett, WA with his loved ones by his side.
Born in Florence, SD on August 16, 1934 to Ernest Schultz and Eleanor Patch (Schultz).
Ron "Sharky" Schultz was known for his quick wit, work ethic, and caring heart. A family man, who loved to travel, dance, and provide amazing opportunity for his family.
With little formal education, he built a very successful timber enterprise that encompassed much of Western Washington.
A member of Hoo-Hoo( logging organization) and supporter of the "Busted Up Loggers" Association.
Throughout his accomplishments he provided many jobs and opportunities to those in Snohomish County area. Ronald is survived by his wife, Kathryn Schultz (Lewis) and four children, Ronald Gene Schultz II (Virginia), Lynnette Korfanta, Heidi Hallgren (Jeramie), and Hilary Schultz; grandchildren: Stephanie Reilly, Tina Johnson, Jamie Crow, Joshua Korfanta, Albert Ronald Schultz, Jordan Hallgren, LilyAnna Hallgren, Peyton Hallgren (deceased); and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his brother, Norman Schultz; parents; and daughter, Prudence Schultz.
Funeral services will be held April 7, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N. MacLeod Ave, Arlington, WA 98223. Interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery with luncheon after (location to be determined)
