Richard John Williamson, III, 60, of Arlington, WA, one of the most prominent realtors in Snohomish County, tragically passed away on November 20, 2020 from complications related to Covid-19. Richard was born on February 4, 1960 to Marilyn Geline (Milstein) Williamson and Richard John Williamson II in Renton, WA.
As former President of Snohomish County-Camano Association of Realtors (2008) and winner of many real estate awards including the President's Award (1998-2000), Emerald Award (1997), Top Sales Associate (1998), Presidents Gold Award (2002-2004), and Remax 100% (2005-2007), Richard was very passionate about his profession and was beloved by his many colleagues, clients and friends. He also loved to sing and as a young man toured around North America with his church youth choir. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed playing golf and especially loved the Washington Huskies.
Richard is survived by his wife of 34 years, Wendy (Desrosier) Williamson, who is a full-time caregiver to their daughter, Kae-Leah, an adult living with an Autism spectrum disorder; as well as his siblings, Jim Williamson, Linda (Williamson) Salatelis, and Lorrie (Williamson) Bauman; his father, who is a missionary based in Colombia; his beloved Uncle John Williamson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother.
Our family would like to thank the extremely hard-working staff at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA who cared for him as if he was their own family member, as well as everyone who reached out to us and lent a hand to us during this trying time.
He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
