Elizabeth Joanne Williams

Elizabeth Joanne Boyd was born on February 9, 1951, in Des Moines, IA, the second daughter of Kenneth and Mary Boyd. She graduated from Bondurant High School in 1969 and went on to Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. Elizabeth married Richard Williams in the Salt Lake Temple on January 27, 1972.

Elizabeth’s passion was learning and teaching. She taught grade school in Lake Stevens, WA for many years. She also taught Sunday School in her Latter-day Saint congregation. She loved art, music, and reading, and she passed those loves on to her children. More than anything, she loved studying and teaching about the gospel of Jesus Christ. She was a loving wife, mother to 6 children, and grandmother to 25 grandchildren.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father Kenneth and grandson Walter. She is survived by her husband Rick, her mother Mary, her sisters Kathy and Becky, her brothers Jeff and Mike, and her children Jason, Trevor, Matthew, Spencer, Audrey, and Laura.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 29, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 17222 43rd Ave NE, Arlington WA.
