Donald Ray Shaw

Donald Ray Shaw, 84, of Lake Stevens, WA went to be with his Lord & Savior October 22, 2023. He was born December 12, 1938 to Quimby & Clemmie Shaw in Mt. Pleasant AR. At age 5 he, his parents and siblings moved to the Wenatchee area. At 10yrs old he went to work at Wenatchee Golf & Country Club caddying and learning to be a golf pro from the ground up. He married Lois Lee Reese on December 26, 1960. They moved to Marysville in 1964 where he was the pro at Cedarcrest Golf Course. Retiring from there in 2001 he ran the driving range he built in Lake Stevens. He is survived by his wife Lois, children Shawna (Kurt) Meek, Shamra Shaw, Sun City West, AZ & Maureen Shaw, Spokane, WA, grandchildren Joseph (Kelsie) Meek, Cassandra Meek, Rachel (Chevy) Fry, Cheyenne Meek & Joshua Meek, great grandchildren Chevelle & Kodiak Fry, siblings Darrell (Karin) Shaw, Charlotte (Leigh) Upchurch & Ronald (Judy) Shaw. He is preceded in death by his mother & father, brother Quimby Shaw & sister Shirley Shaw. His service will be held at Marysville Foursquare Church 11911 State Ave Marysville, WA on November 11th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Marysville Foursquare, Compassion First or the charity of your choice.
